Pitcher [realia]. 1921

Silver water pitcher has eight paneled sides. Six of the panels are decorated with floral scrolling and leaves. Engraved on one side is: "TROPHY / for / Presidential Golf Game, / July 4th 1921. / Presented by / Raritan Valley Country Club." Another side is engraved: "Rx: / When score is low / and skill is high / Take H 2' O / When you are dry." The spout is wide and rectangular with a small beading under the rim. The handle is a large rectangular shape. The bottom of the piece is marked "Sheffield Reproduction" and has touchmarks of initials DSP Co. and two others, one of which looks like a fish and anchor.
